Lima City Schools Superintendent Andre Rudolph delivered his first "State of the Schools" address on Tuesday night. Rudolph highlighted the district's current strengths and challenges. A significant portion of his address focused on the state report card, with Lima City Schools receiving a two-star rating. With a goal of instructional excellence, Rudolph said the district is beginning to implement major changes to its curriculum.

“I want them to know the phenomenal things going on in Career Technical Education. I want them to know the phenomenal things going on within the arts. I want to make sure everybody is aware of the amazing things taking place in our classrooms every day. You know, we have students completing College Credit Plus courses, and so they're graduating high school not only ready for college, but already walking into college with college credits,” Rudolph said.
