The ribbon has been cut to begin the 169th Allen County Fair. The Ohio State Alumni Band helped get the festivities started for what the fair general manager Bob Fricke said was going to be a fun-filled week. This year's concert featuring Kane Brown and Seaforth has less than 150 tickets available as of Friday afternoon. Outside of the classic draws like fair food and livestock competitions, other attractions Fricke expects to be a big attraction are the harness racing, demolition derby, the Fearless Flores Thrill Show, and many live music acts. The fair will run through Saturday, August 24th.
