PERRY TOWNSHIP, OH (WLIO) -Â Multiple departments were called in to fight a fire at a scrapyard in Perry Township on Wednesday.
The Perry Township Fire Department arrived at Perry Auto around 4 pm., where they found a pile of about 100 scrap cars burning. It took about five hours to get the blaze under control and for the last crew to leave the scene.
Uniopolis, Cridersville, Shawnee Township, Lima, and St. John's Fire Departments provided mutual aid. There were no injuries and the cause of the fire is still under investigation.
