Lima fire fighters battle a fire on the second story of a North West Street home.
The fire department was called out to the 600 block of North West Street around 7 a.m. Tuesday morning. Officials say the fire was found in an interior wall and fire damage was spotted in the stairway and the second floor, but there was smoke damage through out the rest of the house. The home was vacant and the damage is estimated around 20 thousand dollars.
The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
