A 19-year-old is arrested after verbally passing a threat to four Elida High School students.
According to the Allen County Sheriff's Office, Wednesday night they received a complaint that 19-year-old Tristan Ascura of Lima made a verbal threat to the students that he was going to shoot up Elida High School on September 1st, which happens to be a Saturday. After a short investigation, the detectives arrested Ascura early Thursday morning and charged him with inducing panic, a second-degree felony.  During the arrest, they confiscated an AR-15 rifle and more than 500 rounds of ammunition. Â
Ascura was a student at Elida High School but stopped attending before the end of the year. He is currently being held in the Allen County Jail.
