March 21, 2024 Press Release from the Shawnee Local School District: Shawnee High School Drama is proud to announce the 2024 Shawnee Spotlight Talent Show. The show will be held on Friday, April 12, and Saturday, April 13, 2024, at 7:30 p.m. in the high school auditorium. Saturday night’s performance will be juried for prizes. A variety of vocal, instrumental, and dance acts will be performed by Shawnee students ranging from 6th to 12th grade.
Tickets are $5.00 at the door the night of each performance. No reserved seats or pre-sale tickets will be offered or accepted. The audience members themselves will have the opportunity to jury the show and decide the rankings of each act, with awards totaling $1,500 for the top performers.
A special thank you to all of the local businesses that donated to the awards fund. One lucky audience member will also win a 32-inch Amazon Fire television at the end of each night.
