4-Wheel Jamboree Expects Large Crowd At Allen County Fairgrounds

Rain or shine you'll have the chance check out the 4 Wheel Jamboree at the Allen County Fairgrounds.

The Jamboree kicked off Friday (5/20/2016), but you still have rest of the weekend to check it out.

Some of the favorites returning this year are the General Tire Monster Truck Thunder Drags, Mickey Thompson Tough Trucks and the burnout competitions. New this year is a new challenge in the mud bogs, with Towering Hill in the Bog.

And an UTV side by side shootout competition, where vehicles will be testing endurance, speed and mud-dragging capabilities. Drivers and organizers say a lot to see for long-time fans and first-timers.

"The jamborees are just a really cool time. There's something here for everybody. If you are a gear-head like me, this is just the place to be. Even if you're not a motor sports fan you can't help it but be fascinated by these vehicles," said Mark Hall, the Raminator driver. "It's going to be a great weekend, looks like the weather is going to be nice all weekend and it should be a fun event."

On Saturday, gates open at 9am and it goes until 6:30pm.

Sunday, it's from 9 until 3:30 pm.

$20 for adults and $10 for children.
