The Allen County 9/11 Memorial Foundation has been raising money to build the memorial. It will have artifacts from each of the three sites where nearly 3,000 people were killed by the terrorists.

"I think it's important that mostly that we remember all the lives we lost that day that we faced as a country. But also, I want to make it available for everybody to reflect on that day as well as the future generations," said Jeff Rosenbrock, president of the Allen County 9/11 Memorial Foundation.
