LIMA, Ohio (WLIO) -Â Activate Allen County welcomed the community to its annual South Jackson Block Party on Saturday afternoon, offering a fun-filled day focused on health, connection, and local resources.
The event encouraged residents to get outside and explore the many resources available in the area. Families enjoyed activities such as inflatables, games for children, a photo booth, and music provided by a DJ. Dozens of local businesses and organizations set up booths to share information on healthy living, active lifestyles, and wellness programs.

"Just the outpouring of support from our local businesses has been unreal, and it is felt too, not just by us at Activate and the chamber, but it is. It's felt by our community members. To have community members come up and tell you how much this event means to them is a really, really awesome thing," said Chad Welker, associate director with Activate Allen County.
