LIMA, Ohio (WLIO) — The Greater Lima Region Park and Amphitheater will wrap up its Summer Park After Dark series Friday evening with a free outdoor movie and a back-to-school celebration.
Guests are encouraged to wear their school colors as part of the event's back-to-school theme before the showing of Akeelah and the Bee. The family-friendly film follows an 11-year-old girl as she competes in the Scripps National Spelling Bee.
The movie is free to attend and will begin at 8 p.m. Concessions will be available for purchase during the event, with proceeds helping support future movie nights at the park.
