LIMA, Ohio (WLIO) — Job seekers in the region had an opportunity to explore new career paths while making a difference in their communities during a hiring event held Thursday at the Allentown Road facility for Goodwill Easterseals Miami Valley.

The organization is looking to fill a wide range of positions for individuals both with and without disabilities. Available roles include retail sales associates, direct service professionals working with individuals with disabilities, and business services contract workers, among others.

Leaders say the goal is not only to connect people with employment, but also to strengthen their mission of improving lives across the communities they serve, including Lima, Kenton and Wapakoneta.

“If you are interested in being a part of our team and supporting our mission empowering individuals with disabilities and disadvantages to have a higher quality of life, you can go to gesmv.org and look at the career section and all of our job postings will be there,” Bonifas said. “You're also welcome to give our human resources department a call and talk to us directly about any open positions we are looking for some passionate people to help change lives.”

Officials say positions are currently open across multiple locations in the region, and they are seeking candidates who are passionate about supporting others and making a meaningful impact.
