SHAWNEE TWP. (WLIO) — Halloween may be over, but it’s already starting to look a little like Christmas in Shawnee Township.
The township’s Christmas tree was set up Friday in the roundabout at the intersection of Fort Amanda and Shawnee roads. The tree will serve as the centerpiece for Shawnee Township Event Planning’s second annual “It’s a Roundabout Chrismas” on Saturday, Nov. 8.
The event runs from 3 p.m. to 7 p.m. on Blue Jacket Court. There will be food trucks, vendors, animals, and maybe even Santa will be making an appearance to get everyone in the holiday spirit.
