LIMA, Ohio (WLIO) — The case of a 2022 stabbing suspect will move to Allen County Common Pleas Court.
Juan Fuentes, 62, was bound over after a preliminary hearing. Fuentes is accused of stabbing and cutting Catsonava Malloy during an argument in the 100 block of South Central Avenue in October 2022.
Fuentes went on the run and was captured and brought back from Tampa, Florida, at the end of August.
Police say he used a box cutter to seriously injure Malloy, with wounds on her neck and face. He is being held in the Allen County Jail on a $1 million bond.
