LIMA, Ohio (WLIO) — Hundreds of people gathered at Lima Community Church this week to develop their leadership skills during the two-day Global Leadership Summit.
The church has hosted the virtual summit for the past 12 years, making the nationally recognized leadership conference more accessible to people throughout the region. Organizers say the event attracts attendees from a wide range of professions, including health care, business, manufacturing and government.
"This is an incredible event. I mean, it's something we look forward to hosting every year. I mean, powerful speakers, great camaraderie. I think it's great for businesses to bring their team. Man, there's so much clarity, good teaching, better practices. Again, when the leader wins, everybody wins. And it's been an incredible summit," said Chip Bullock, lead pastor of Lima Community Church.
This year's summit featured presentations from David Ashcraft, president and CEO of the Global Leadership Network; author and academic Arthur C. Brooks; and actress and CandyRock Entertainment CEO Candace Cameron Bure, along with other nationally recognized speakers.
