LIMA, Ohio – Lima Central Catholic High School is proud to announce a special celebration honoring 70 years of Homecoming tradition. On Friday, September 19, from 5:30–7:00 PM at Lima Stadium Park, LCC will host a 70th Anniversary Homecoming Tailgate, featuring the return of past Homecoming Queens.
This milestone event will welcome back alumnae who have held the title of Homecoming Queen across the decades, recognizing their role in the school’s history and Thunderbird spirit. Guests will enjoy food, fellowship, and the opportunity to reconnect with classmates and friends before the evening’s football game.
“Homecoming is always a time of joy and tradition at LCC,” said Stephanie Williams, Head of School. “This year is especially meaningful as we honor the 70-year legacy of our Homecoming Queens and celebrate the lasting pride and spirit of our Thunderbird family.”
The event is open to alumni, students, parents, and the wider Lima Thunderbird community. Past Homecoming Queens are especially encouraged to attend and be recognized during the festivities.
