LIMA, Ohio (WLIO) — New Lima City Schools Superintendent Andre Rudolph is inviting parents and residents to get to know him through a series of informal gatherings.
Rudolph is launching “Afternoons with Andre,” a chance for community members to talk casually with him about their hopes for the district and to share feedback.
“It sounds hokey, but I really want to meet parents and residents of the district,” Rudolph said. “Just seeing what the practices are, things that we can improve on, things that we need to keep going, because we’re already killing it. I just want to keep those things going, and I’m looking forward to working with our staff to do it. We got a phenomenal staff. I can’t reiterate that part enough.”
Before those events begin, Rudolph will host a tailgate party this Friday before the Spartans face the Findlay Trojans. The event will take place in the Eastside parking lot from 5 to 6:30 p.m. and will include snacks, games, and other activities. The first “Afternoons with Andre” sessions are scheduled for Sept. 4, 11, and 18.
