LIMA, OHIO (WLIO) - The West Ohio Food Bank received a financial boost on Wednesday. The Lima Elks Lodge #54 donated a $4,000 check to the agency as part of their Beacon Grant.

The service club applied for the grant through the National Elks Foundation, and the funds will go toward addressing community-driven needs.

The grant comes at a critical time as the food bank has seen an increase in the number of individuals facing hunger and food insecurity.
