LIMA, Ohio (WLIO) – A Lima man has been indicted for murder and other charges in connection to a fatal stabbing in April.
Marcus Tyson, 45, was indicted by an Allen County Grand Jury on charges of murder, felonious assault, and tampering with evidence for the murder of Anthony Townsend on April 18.
Law enforcement officials say Tyson and Townsend were in an argument at Townsend’s home when Tyson allegedly stabbed him in the abdomen. Townsend was taken to the hospital, where he was pronounced dead.
Tyson was later arrested in Adams County, Indiana. He is currently being held in the Allen County Jail on a $1,000,000 bond.
