DELPHOS, Ohio (WLIO) — Lima Memorial Health System has opened a new medical center in Delphos.
The location has been open since the beginning of the month, offering family medicine, on-site lab services and access to specialty care, starting with cardiology and general surgery. Patients can also schedule same-day or walk-in appointments. Lynn Carpenter, president and COO, says the goal is to expand access to care close to home, with providers who have ties to the community.
"What I'm really excited about our partnership in Delphos is that our providers all have a connection, whether born and raised here, or with Dr. Krendl, she started her practice here when she first graduated from medical school. So for her, it's a homecoming, and for the others, Delphos has always been home."
