LIMA, Ohio (WLIO) — One of Northwest Ohio’s premier reggae events returned to the Lima Amphitheater Saturday afternoon.
The Love Conquers All Reggae Fest featured bands and musicians from Columbus and Dayton. Lima’s own Stedic Music also performed as the festival continued its effort to promote a positive vibe in the Lima community through reggae and soca music. The festival was started to help unite people, culture and the community.
“Man, we just like to bring the whole community together, vendors, families, friends, good music, positive vibe. It keeps it keeps a good energy in the city. You know, I love reggae music, I love Soca music, so I want to bring that energy and vibe to all the other music that's going on around here in the city,” says Chris Henderson, Love Conquers All Reggae Fest.
“I think it's pretty important so people of all different cultures live right here in the city of Lima and in Northwest Ohio and for them to have something to do that's family-friendly that you can bring your bring your kids to and just relax and have a good time and just really share the art of music,” says Tara Shepherd, Love Conquers All Reggae Fest.
This is the third year for the Love Conquers All Reggae Fest.
