LIMA, Ohio (WLIO) – Serving, protecting and saving lives are things police officers and firefighters do every day. But on Oct. 7, they are asking for the community’s help during the Battle of the Badges Blood Drive at the Red Cross’s Allen County Chapter House.
The first responders are on a mission to collect the most blood during the drive. If you donate, you can choose either police or fire to put your donation toward. Whichever department collects the most donations will be declared the winner.
The blood drive will take place Oct. 7 from 7:30 a.m. to 6 p.m. at the Red Cross’s Allen County Chapter House, 610 S. Collett St., Lima.
