LIMA, Ohio (WLIO) — Tickets are going fast for the Allen County Fair’s highly anticipated concert. Contemporary Christian singer Lauren Daigle will headline the show on Aug. 16th.
Fair officials are encouraging concertgoers to act quickly, especially those hoping to secure a seat in the grandstand or on the track.
Daigle, a rising star in contemporary Christian music, recently performed “America the Beautiful” alongside Trombone Shorty at the Super Bowl.
“The stars have aligned very well for this show. She's getting a lot of exposure, but from all the research we've done and what we've seen, she's one of the biggest names in Christian contemporary music. So the fact that we're fortunate enough to have her right here in our backyard in Lima, Ohio, it's going to be a pretty unique, family friendly experience for everyone involved,” said Troy Elwer, operations and promotions manager.
