ALLEN COUNTY, OH (WLIO) - Apollo Career Center will receive a grant to help expand their services to train the workforce of the next generation.

Ohio Governor Mike DeWine as well as Lieutenant Governor Jon Husted announced career tech construction grants that will be used to expand education and training facilities to serve more students in order to meet the growing need for workers in an evolving tech industry.

Thirty-five career development schools were selected for the grant, with Apollo Career Center receiving $2,990,483 that will go towards their Law and Public Safety programs, as well as their Fire and EMT programs. A total of $200 million dollars was awarded to thirty-five different schools.
