WAPAKONETA, Ohio (WLIO) — For two decades, CC Propane has served customers across Wapakoneta and the surrounding area, selling and delivering propane for homes, farms and local businesses.

“We sell propane to residential customers, ag industries, forklift cylinders, all of the above,” said Rick Baker, manager at CC Propane.

Baker said the company has been part of the community since 2006, growing its customer base while maintaining a local, small-town approach.

“It’s customer-driven here, getting everybody in the community here to come see us at CC Propane.”

That community connection goes beyond business. Baker said CC Propane supports local events and organizations throughout the year.

America 250 Hometown Proud: CC Propane

CC Propane supports local events and organizations throughout the year.

“We donate to the Cattleman’s Association, we donate propane for them for the fairgrounds, we’re gonna do a sponsorship for a dog this year at the animal shelter. We’re going to do that so somebody can get the dog and we’ll take care of all the fees for that.”

Baker said propane demand changes with the seasons, but the work continues year-round.

“Propane is crazy when it comes to being weather-driven. Everybody saw the weather this year, and it drives us to where we don’t stop through the wintertime, we relax in the summertime. Get tanks ready to go, set tanks, and away we go again.”

After years of serving the area, Baker said being a local business still comes down to supporting the people who support them.

“We are here for the people of a small community. We will help out wherever we are needed. It’s a win-win for us and hopefully for Wapak.”
