ST. MARYS, Ohio (WLIO) — The Ohio Controlling Board has approved funding for multiple projects in Auglaize County.
84th District State Rep. Angie King announced that $3.2 million has been awarded to two projects in her district. $2,537,700 million will be used to construct a new mixed-use building at Grand Lake St. Marys State Park. The project will replace an outdated facility and include a camp store for visitors along with office space for park staff.
An additional $700,000 was awarded to Ohio Department of Transportation District 7 to study two bridges that cross U.S. 33 in Auglaize County. The study will determine whether the bridges need to be rehabilitated or replaced.
