Blanchard Valley Hospital bans cloth mask, handing out N-95 masks to patients

The Blanchard Valley Health System is prohibiting cloth masks for all of their buildings. They will be requiring patients and visitors to wear either a surgical mask or an N-95 mask, which they will be providing to people when they come to one of their facilities. They say that surgical and N-95 masks are the most effective in preventing the spread of COVID-19. The Health System is also encouraging the community to wear a mask whenever it’s appropriate and cloth masks are better than no mask at all. They also stress getting vaccinated to prevent serious illness from COVID-19.
