The Village of Buckland celebrated 150 years with a variety of events. The village hosted softball games, pony rides, and a car show for their Sesquicentennial celebration. The car show is giving people the chance to show off their vehicles, but the proceeds go back to help the fire department and the village. Plus, there were a lot of trophies to be won.

“We got Top 20, plus the Best of Show, plus the Fireman’s Pick and the Kids’ Pick,” says Lonnie John, Buckland Sesquicentennial Car Show. “We have a pretty good variety of cars. From 1934 to newer, I think there is a 2012 or 2020 Corvette over there.”
Buckland was founded in 1872 and was named after the man who brought the railroad to the village.
