Sentencing for the man found guilty of murder and aggravated robbery even though he wasn't at the scene of the crime.
Charles McGuire has been sentenced to 10 years in prison for the aggravated robbery and 15 years to life for the murder. His sentences will be served consecutively. McGuire sent 29 year old James Gipson to a home on Catalpa Avenue in December. Gipson was sent to rob a family in order to collect a drug debt in exchange for the forgiveness of his own drug debt. Gipson was then fatally stabbed by one of the home's occupants in self defense.
