LIMA, OH (WLIO) - The City of Lima showed small business owners what financial aid is out there for them.
Owners attended "Fun with Funding" at the Lima Public Library Saturday morning about the grant opportunities available to companies in the city limits. The workshop explained the requirements to qualify for each of the seven programs on the city's website and how to properly fill out the applications. Lima officials say the funding has already made a difference for many businesses.

"Some of the exciting things that we have seen are improvements to exteriors of buildings through our Better Blocks for Business. We have our ABC 123 Enrichment Center, Bob's Cleaner's, Burns Dental. If you were able to go to the solar eclipse that the chamber had, you got to hear a piece that was written by an artist that we are funding," said Amber Martin, the city's Workforce and Small Business Development Coordinator.
