Coleman Professional Services holds presentation at newest facility

The newest location of the Ohio-based Coleman Professional Services in Wapakoneta held a one hour presentation Thursday morning.

More than 25 people attended the Coleman coffee event at the new facility being held to shed light on mental illness and addiction disorders. Officials believe these meetings are important as they help spread the word about the agency, what it does, and that help is easily accessible.

The not-for-profit agency has offices in and serves 8 counties in Ohio including Allen, Auglaize, and Hardin where the primary focus is getting those with a mental illness or a drug addiction the services they need, even if they can't pay.

President and CEO of Coleman Professional Services, Nelson Burns says the agency has been highly successful in helping thousands of Ohioans and says there are specific goals Coleman has. Burns wants people to know they should not be scared to visit a facility and that Allen, Auglaize, and Hardin counties offer 24/7 crisis support.
