"This is the first of what we hope is an annual event where we're going deep on what antiviolence looks like in our community and what our youth needs to know and learn to be good ambassadors. One of the things that we want to do is answer their questions that they have about what it means to be a leader in this space," stated Erin Ostling Burkholder, director of outreach and prevention at Crime Victim Services.
The program runs through this week and is topped off with a local service project on Friday, giving teens a chance to apply their new skills in a meaningful way.
