COLUMBUS, Ohio (WLIO) — Ohio residents planning to vote in the May 5 primary election have only a few days left to register.
Monday is the deadline to register to vote or update existing voter information ahead of next month’s election. Voters can visit Ohio Secretary of State website at voteohio.gov over the weekend to register online or check their registration status.
Those who prefer to register in person can do so Monday at their local county board of elections. In 2026, all statewide offices will appear on the ballot, along with numerous local races and issues for voters to decide. Early voting for the May 5 primary begins April 7.
