A Lima man being held in connection with the shooting death of another in a Lima bar is bound over to an Allen County Grand Jury.
24-year-old Demonta Rogers is being held for suspicion of assault with a deadly weapon. Rogers was bound over Wednesday in Magistrate Richard Warren's court with a $750,000 bond. Lima Police say they were able to identify Rogers from surveillance video and witness interviews from the former G-Spot Bar, also known as the Alibi Lounge on July 5th of this year. Remeal Ingram was shot at the bar and later died at the hospital from his injuries. Police alleged that Rogers is the shooter.
Authorities are still looking for a second person in connection to the shooting. 24-year-old Jontez White has a complaint warrant of complicity issued. He remains at large. If you have any information on White's whereabouts contact Detective Sean Neidemire at 419-227-4444 or 419-221-5295.
