ALLEN COUNTY, OH (WLIO) - Allen County Commissioners have filled a deputy director position that will help protect the county and its residents.
Phillip Zimmerly has been hired as the county's new deputy director of homeland security and emergency management.
Phillip Zimmerly has been hired as the county's new deputy director of homeland security and emergency management. The position became vacant when Jared Gesler was promoted to director. Zimmerly is looking forward to his new position.
"I'm really excited to be here. There's been a long line of great leadership and progression, and I look forward to be part of that and continue to move things forward," said Phillip Zimmerly, new deputy director for Allen County EMA and Homeland Security.
