LIMA, Ohio (WLIO) - Homeowners on Lincoln Highway had a tree fall through their bedroom as they were sleeping during the storm this week.
While sleeping at 4:30 AM, homeowners Jim and Kelly Binkley woke up to a loud crash in their bedroom. They were feet away from a tree falling onto their bed. The tree, located in the backyard, crashed into the home during the storm on Thursday. They say that there is enough damage to the roof that the entire bedroom ceiling must be replaced. They currently have a team helping to clean up the room, as well as a team to chop the tree into smaller segments. No one was injured during or after the tree collapsed.
