It was a snowy one Monday (1/15/2018), the perfect weather for some winter fun.
Faurot Park was full of families sledding down the snowy hills. 13-year-old Makala Nye says that it was all the right conditions for the perfect sled ride, but be sure you have the right tools to make the most out of your downhill trip.
"I think it was the perfect amount of snow, but packing snow is better because it's easier to walk up on and you won't slip," says Nye. "Round sleds are better than bobsleds because even though if you spin around, you go really fast."
Be sure to get your sledding in before all the snow melts away.
