Some local students say they have a handle on flushing away cancer.
Members of St. Marys Memorial High School's Relay for Life Team have found a unique way to raise money in the fight against cancer.
Here's how it works...if you find one of two purple toilets in your yard, you must pay to get it removed.
Most people have no problem shelling out some green to get the purple toilet sent to a friend's house.
And when the students began talking about who's yard should get the unwelcome lawn ornament first, one name came to mind...Assistant Principal Brian Pohl.
It costs 15 dollars to have the toilet immediately removed and 25 dollars to have it sent to someone else's home.
Each person who receives the toilet also gets a note explaining that it's all part of a fund raiser.
The toilets used for the project were donated and in case you're wondering, it took about six rolls of duct tape to cover each toilet.
