LIMA, OH (WLIO) - It's only two weeks away, and the organizers are encouraging car enthusiasts to get their rides ready.
The annual Veterans Appreciation Car Cruise-in at the Star Spangled Spectacular is looking for cars and trucks to participate. There will be more than 40 prizes to be awarded in several categories. It's located east of Diamond One in Faurot Park and is free and open to the public.
"All kinds. Electric cars, trucks, any kind of car we're looking for. If you've got something spectacular and it's out of sight, bring the car," stated Andy Maravola, organizer.
Registration is by donation and starts at noon on Thursday, July 4th, and awards will be at 4 p.m. Be sure and attend to support veterans and all they have done for our country.
