ALLEN COUNTY, OH (WLIO) - Multiple crews were on the scene of a house fire outside of Shawnee this morning.
The Spencerville Fire Department was called out to a house fire at 6470 Spencerville Road just after midnight. When they arrived, flames were showing from the back of the house. Everyone inside the home was able to get out safely. A second alarm was called, and Shawnee and American Township Fire Departments were brought in to help. The home sustained heavy damage, and the Red Cross assisted the family. The cause of the fire is still under investigation.
