Hundreds come out for St. Rita's February Freeze 5K

Not even rain could keep runners of their course Saturday (2/24/18).

Over 300 people came out to run and walk in St. Rita's annual February Freeze 5K. The course took them around the hospital and afterward there were awards and door prizes. While it is fun to see what time you got, the real goal of the race to get people out and active.

"It's just very important as a healthy person to get up and move one way or another," says Abe Frieson, St. Rita's fitness coordinator. "Whether it's to run, jog, walk, lift, whatever, just get our and move."
