Impacts expected a few more days for car dealers after back-to-back cyberattacks

LIMA, OH (WLIO) - Software company "CDK Global" was the latest victim of back-to-back cyberattacks, leading to big headaches for car dealers. North American car dealerships, including those throughout our area, who rely on the software company for day-to-day technology operations, have been impacted, including Ford, BMW, and Stellantis, meaning orders are being drafted by hand. The cyberattacks happened on Wednesday. An update was given Friday morning that didn't tell us much. They said they didn't know when everything would be back up and running, but it would likely be at least a few more days.
