A Lima man accused of stabbing another man last week in a Columbus Grove home made his initial court appearance in Putnam Municipal Court, Monday afternoon.
40 year old Joshua Morman is being held on one hundred thousand dollar bond after his arraignment on a felonious assault charge. He is accused of stabbing 39 year old Shawn Ward in the stomach at a South Main Street home in Columbus Grove Thursday night. A not guilty plea was entered.
Morman has asked for a court appointed attorney to represent him in further proceedings. A preliminary hearing is scheduled for this Thursday at 9 am in Putnam Municipal Court.
