Jumping Gas Prices

You may have to dig a little deeper at the pump, gas prices jumped 21 cents per gallon. The cost to top off now runs $2.54 a gallon for regular unleaded. It's still nearly a dollar less than this time last year, but has been rising since bottoming out six weeks ago. Analysts point to the switch to "summer blend" gasoline as the main force behind the hike. Southern California's already converted. The rest of the country has until June 1st, but the higher costs of the blend are already hitting some areas.
