The Lima Dental Associates know the scary side of Halloween candy, so they want kids to understand that the holiday can be healthy and fun too.
This is the third year for the Healthy Goblin Bash and organizers say the event keeps getting bigger each year.
Kids dressed up in their favorite costumes to play games, do some arts and crafts, and chow down on some healthy snacks.
The Healthy Goblin Bash started as a way to show kids that there is more to Halloween than sugar and sweets, and healthy options will benefit them in the long run.
This year they are teaming up with West Ohio Food Bank to also teach kids about the one and 5 children in the country who don't know where their next meal is coming from.
To help the food bank with its mission Lima Dental Associates donated $5,000 to help them continue to feed kids in the area.
