The last of this year's "First Fridays" brought fun to downtown Lima Friday afternoon.
This month's "First Friday" event brought in people of all ages to enjoy their lunch in the square. There was a performance by local dance studios, arts and crafts, and giveaways for people coming in and enjoying their downtown. Downtown Lima, Inc. says that it's been a successful first year for the "First Fridays".
"We really enjoyed it, and unfortunately the weather's not always in our favor, but we had a great time this summer doing this, we love having people come out enjoy the downtown, walk around see how walkable it is to go from business to business and check everything out?," said Aubree Kaye, executive director of Downtown Lima, Inc.
Committees with Downtown Lima, Inc. will soon discuss whether or not "First Fridays" will return next year.
