LIMA, Ohio (WLIO) – Students at Liberty Arts Magnet School got the chance to dance Friday afternoon.
Saturday, Sept. 20, is National Dance Day, and students celebrated early with special dance classes. They learned a variety of styles through group exercises, then put the routine together to perform as a class.

"Last year, we learned tap dance, and I think this year we're learning jazz. In the beginning of the year we did ballet. It was actually really fun—I liked it. I hope we get to learn hip-hop dances," said Ciara Cowan, a sixth grader at Liberty Arts Magnet School.
With the school being centered around the arts, dance is part of the curriculum, along with music and drama.
