There is a whole lot more than reading and writing going on in public schools.
To give the public a taste of what is happening at Lima City Schools, the district held a schoolwide open house. All of the school's buildings showed off what is going on. From music to science to social clubs and more, the open house gave the public just a sneak peek of what's happening behind the doors of the school.
There's a variety of activities scheduled the rest of this week in the district to celebrate Public Schools Week.
