LIMA, Ohio (WLIO) - A great turnout for the Team Jr. benefit.
Jr. is a three-year-old in Lima battling multiple diseases, and his family is raising money and awareness for a life-saving multiple organ transplant. An all-day event was hosted by the family, bringing in art vendors, live music, and a community cruise-in with over 100 cars rolling in to support. This benefit lasted all day, bringing kids and adults alike to the event while supporting a great cause. The family was grateful for the overwhelming amount of support the Lima community gave.
"We're just very appreciative of it all. We are very blessed for everybody that came out. Thank you, thank you to everybody. Thank you very much," says Briana Tschuor, mother of Jr.
With Jr’s family seeing the community come together to support their child, they were grateful that he was able to witness how much support he and his family have during this tough time.
