The Lima Family YMCA offers a whole array of activities to keep kids not only physically active but also mentally active.

LIMA, OH (WLIO) - With students heading back to the classrooms, the Lima Family YMCA is gearing up for their fall youth classes as well.

The programming aims to promote youth development, social responsibility, and healthy living in youth.

The Lima Family YMCA offers a whole array of activities to keep kids not only physically active but also mentally active. Fall sports such as swimming, soccer, and karate are taking registrations, along with the Lego League, first robotics team, and the "Snack Attack" cooking class, are looking for participants. The programming aims to promote youth development, social responsibility, and healthy living in youth.

Fall sports such as swimming, soccer, and karate are taking registrations, along with the Lego League, first robotics team, and the "Snack Attack" cooking class, are looking for participants.

"When you really look at some of the other individual programs, we're able to highlight different aspects. So, in terms of youth development are robotics, our Lego programs, all those things it's able to kind of meet something that sometimes a lot of our school districts aren't able to do. And really highlight really deep-rooted specific interests that some of our youth have," said Kody Graham, Lima Family YMCA Swim Coach.
