LIMA, Ohio (WLIO) - Lima Memorial Health System celebrated over 190 associates hitting an important 5-year milestone.
At Lima Memorial, they believe to celebrate large milestones, and their "high five" event showcased that. From associates celebrating their 5-year marker, to even one man receiving special recognition for 45 years of service to the company, each attendee was able to reflect on their hard work and dedication to the health system. Each group was recognized for their years of service, participated in games, and were able to visit activity booths for some fun. From photo booths to caricatures, Lima Memorial employees were able to relax for a night of success.
"Over 193 associates being recognized tonight, with over 2,515 years of service. So, it's amazing, in terms of longevity, the people that have been here. We always say, once you come to our place, you're not going anywhere else because they like to work here. It's our culture, it's our belief, and it's who and what we are," says Michael Swick, CEO of Lima Memorial Health Center.
"It's home, and everyone around me is family," says Jim Ward, who is celebrating 45 years of service at Lima Memorial.
Associates and their families left feeling successful for their past work, and hopeful for their future to come.
